In an empty room, your gaze reaches its limit in the shortest possible time.
Everything consists of surfaces; the three-dimensional space formed by them is little more than an illusion.
He touched the heating radiator with his hand and pulled it away: it was very hot, so he realized that it was winter now and that he would have to stay here until spring.
You can fill the space with yourself, but the price you pay is the loss of your agency; you become an object.
An empty room is filled with equal parts of past and future; the absence of anything only serves to highlight the intensity of the present that surrounds you.
You mark your height on the wall with a pencil and write the date next to it—it is a fixation, the beginning of a story—but I have a feeling that you will leave this room and never return.
Perhaps whoever comes here after you will think to bring a chair with them.

How to Rent a Room in a Dollhouse?
Paper installation created for the opening of Bala gallery.
Bala is a small cultural disruption embedded in the everyday life of its neighborhood, contributing to its rhythm through the natural flow of people, daily routines, and the needs of the local community. The space is dedicated to site-specific installations that engage directly with the gallery, the street, and the surrounding urban environment. Bala is located on the corner of Naugarduko and Švitrigailos Streets in Vilnius, Lithuania.
